Sharjah Warriors Vs Gulf Giants: Match Report
In an exhilarating match that took place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, the Sharjah Warriors completed a nail-biting win against the Gulf Giants in the third match of the International League T20 (ILT20) 2025. In pursuit of 175, Sharjah Warriors began the chase shakily when they lost Johnson Charles and Jason Roy early, stranded at 14 for 2 after just 1.4 overs. However, Tom Kohler-Cadmore played an innings of sheer class and resolution, remaining not out on 83 from 56 balls, with six fours and four sixes. His innings laid the foundation for the chase. Rohan Mustafa added 45 off 33, putting together the key partnership that kept the momentum with the Warriors’ side.
The pressure built up with one wicket falling after another, but Kohler-Cadmore and Adil Rashid, scoring 9 off 6 balls towards the end, were able to take their team home. The match ended with Sharjah Warriors clinching a 3-wicket win with two balls to spare, showing Kohler-Cadmore’s cool in the final moments of the match.
Somebody had done some serious bowling for the Gulf Giants today. Daniel Worrall was the pick of the bowlers, taking two wickets for 45 runs, while it was Mark Adair and Blessing Muzarabani who kept the game alive by chipping away with timely wickets. Rehan Ahmed took 1 for 33 in his three overs.
