Ben Oliver, CA’s executive general manager of national teams, stated that the Australian team management worked closely with each player to assess their availability for their BBL clubs.
“A five-Test match series is demanding, and this was intensified by the intensity of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy,” he said in a statement today.
“The players and staff deserve significant recognition for their meticulous preparation and management, which has facilitated sustained performance during this exhaustive international schedule.

“We have collaborated with each player to create tailored plans aimed at promoting recovery from the Border-Gavaskar Trophy and gearing up for upcoming international responsibilities, including the Qantas Tour of Sri Lanka and the ICC Champions Trophy in February.
“Whenever feasible, this encompasses players competing for their clubs in the ongoing BBL|14 season in the coming fortnight.”
