Vijay Hazare Trophy Day 4 Highlights:- Here Is All You Need To Know About What Happened On Day 4 Of Vijay Hazare Trophy

Vijay Hazare Trophy:- Baroda vs Bengal

Despite being stranded at 99, Anustup Majumdar led Bengal to a seven-wicket victory and shared the top spot in the table. Shashwat Rawat, the opener, scored 95 of Baroda’s 228 runs in 48.5 overs. Bhanu Pania contributed a useful 42 lower in the order to help their team reach a total of 200+, although the top and middle order failed to contribute significantly. In response, Bengal was reduced to 71/3 in 17 overs, but they were rescued by Majumdar and Sumanta Gupta (69* off 80 balls). In his first non-T20 competition since hurting his ankle at the World Cup last year, Hardik Pandya finished with 1-33 with the ball and was dismissed for 1.

Vijay Hazare Trophy :- Chandigarh vs Vidarbha

With two overs remaining, Vidarbha won by five wickets, with Karun Nair’s 163* in the chase surpassing Manan Vohra’s 101. As Chandigarh finished with 315/4 from their allocated overs, Vohra’s century was supported by quick half-century cameos from Ankit Kaushik (59* off 39) and Amrit Lubana (58* off 35). Karun anchored the chase with a 107-ball knock that included 20 boundaries and a handful of maximums. None of the other batters could build on their beginnings, except from opener Dhruv Shorey’s 57, but Karun stayed undefeated till the very end, stitching together a match-winning partnership of 85 with Shubham Dubey, who chipped in a 16* off 23.

Vijay Hazare Trophy :- Hyderabad vs Puducherry

Hyderabad defeated Puducherry by four wickets thanks in large part to Chama Milind’s outstanding 5/13. Puducherry was ultimately limited to a pitiful 98 within 32 overs as the new-ball bowlers took three of their top four. Before Kodimela Himateja (42*) dropped anchor and stitched a 46-run partnership with Tanay Thayagrajan (22 off 18), Hyderabad’s chase also experienced a spectacular collapse of 4 for 27. This placed them on track for a comfortable victory in just 20 overs.

Vijay Hazare Trophy :- Railways vs Sikkim

In another low-scoring match in Group B, Railways defeated Sikkim by five wickets thanks to a brilliant 75 from just 27 deliveries from Ashutosh Sharma. Following a valiant unbeaten 58 from Ankur Malik at No. 8, Railways held Sikkim to a respectable 198, with Ashutosh being the only one of six spinners to fail to claim a wicket. With the bat, however, he more than made up for it, blasting seven sixes and as many boundaries in his wild knock.

He was largely responsible for the opening stand’s lopsided 83 runs. Sahab Yuvraj’s undefeated 47 made sure that Railways had no significant obstacles in the 33rd over itself, even though his wicket did cause a slight collapse and the majority of the damage was already done.

Vijay Hazare Trophy :- Goa vs Uttarakhand

Deepak Dhapola (3 for 19) and Prashant Bhati (3 for 20) laid the stage for Uttarakhand’s crushing eight-wicket beating of Goa in another low-scoring match in damp Jaipur. After Goa was put in to bat, Dhapola claimed two in a row, over two overs, in a collapse of 3 for 3. With a maximum score of 35 from 72 balls, captain Prabhudesai led his team to 92 before they were dismissed in precisely 29 overs. With contributions from three of the top four, Uttarakhand had an easy chase at that point, finishing the goal in just 18.5 overs.

Vijay Hazare Trophy :- Jharkhand vs Gujarat

Gujarat defeated Jharkhand by six wickets thanks to fast fifties from Umag Kumar (62* off 43) and Saurav Chauhan (50* off 33) in the chase.Virat Singh’s 51-all-52 to lead Jharkhand to a battling 199/9 was the lone noteworthy moment of the team’s batting effort. At 80/4, Gujarat was in trouble after Urvil Patel scored 46 runs in a row. But the fifth-wicket duo reversed the trend and smashed fast half-centuries to propel Gujarat to the top of the standings.

Vijay Hazare Trophy :- Andhra vs Services

Andhra defeated Services by an overwhelming 10-wicket margin thanks to a brilliant bowling display and the undefeated half-centuries of Ashwin Hebbar (66 off 83) and Srikar Bharat (86 off 90). When put to bat, Services found it difficult to form partnerships as Andhra continued to score runs at regular intervals. None of the batters who started were able to reach 40, with Arjun Sharma leading the pack with 39. As Services collapsed for 162 in the 37th over, Pinninti Tapaswi swept through the lower order to end with figures of 4 for 28. Despite their conservative approach, the Andhra openers needed just 28.4 overs to surpass the small goal once they were in position.

Vijay Hazare Trophy :- Maharashtra vs Himachal Pradesh

Maharashtra defeated Himachal Pradesh by 84 runs thanks to centuries from Siddhesh Veer (155) and Ankit Bawne (123). When asked to bat, Maharashtra scored an incredible 360 by riding on the centuries from the two. Even though Prashant Chopra (87) and Mani Sharma (54) fought back, Himachal was skittled out for 276.

Vijay Hazare Trophy :- Nagaland vs Saurashtra

Saurashtra defeated Nagaland by 45 runs after overcoming their challenge. Arpit Vasavada’s 61 and Jay Gohil’s 100 enabled them reach 307/9. With Dega Nischal (75) and Sedezhalie Rupero (71) contributing 149 for the first wicket, Nagaland got off to a strong start in the chase. They were only able to manage 262/8 after that partnership ended because they were losing wickets on a regular basis.

Vijay Hazare Trophy :- Chhattisgarh vs Uttar Pradesh

Following UP’s 272/9, Chhattisgarh lost for the second time in a row. With Harsh Yadav’s twin strikes in the sixth over, UP lost to 11/2 after being put in to bat. However, Sameer Rizvi (48 off 47) and Ashutosh Goswami (85 off 81) teamed up for a century to lay the groundwork for a solid total. Shivam Mavi’s 52-run cameo at the fag end, which lasted 48 balls, helped them. Almost every batter from Chhattisgarh started, but they were never able to gain momentum for the chase since they kept dropping wickets at regular intervals. As Chhattisgarh collapsed for 240 in response, captain Amandeep Khare hit the highest score of 44, followed by Eknath Kerkar’s 42 and Shashank Singh’s 35.

Vijay Hazare Trophy :- Delhi vs Kerala

Delhi won a low-scoring match by 29 runs, despite Abdul Basith’s run-a-ball 90. In addition to Sumit Mathur’s undefeated 48, captain Ayush Badoni’s half-century knocks of 56 off 74 and Anuj Rawat’s 58* off 66 helped Delhi, who were batting first, reach 258/5. Early in the chase, Ishant Sharma’s two runs in the first over put Kerala at 3/2. They quickly fell to 70/4 before Basith and Rohan Kunnummal, the undefeated opener, shared a fifty. Although Rohan was eight runs short of a half-century, Basith continued to put up another strong 100-run partnership with Salman Nizar. However, as soon as the stand was broken, Basith quickly ran out of partners, and the team lost by 29.

Vijay Hazare Trophy :- Madhya Pradesh vs Tripura

Harsh Gawli scored 142* off just 72 balls as Madhya Pradesh crushed Tripura by eight wickets. All-rounder Sridam Paul, Tripura’s lone half-centurion, took two wickets in an over to try to halt MP’s progress, but Gawli saw them through with a boundary-filled effort that included eight maximums and thirteen fours. Tripura had only scored 189, and Gawli ensured that his team needed only 21 overs to win convincingly.

Vijay Hazare Trophy :- Jammu & Kashmir vs Tamil Nadu

N Jagadeesan (165 off 147 balls) and CV Achyuth (6 for 31) led Tamil Nadu to a 191-run victory over J&K. When TN came out to bat, they lost two quick wickets, but Jagadeesan and Baba Indrajith (78 off 760) combined to form a 175-run partnership that demoralized the opponents. The opener smashed 17 boundaries and four sixes in his knock, while middle-order cameos, including Sai Kishore’s 11-ball 23*, helped TN to a solid 353/6 from 50 overs. J&K’s pursuit never truly took off, with only three hitters reaching 25 or more. Achyuth took three wickets in the eighth over, in a span of four balls, and then three more lower-order scalps to limit the opponents to 162 in reply.

Vijay Hazare Trophy :- Mumbai vs Punjab

Prabhsimran Singh (150* off 101) and Arshdeep Singh (5 for 38) worked together to lead Punjab to an eight-wicket victory over Mumbai and move them up to second place in the standings. With four runs in the collapse of 28/5, the pacer tore through the Mumbai top order. With the dismissal of Shivam Dube, he ended his fifer as Mumbai fell to 61/6. Atharva Ankolekar (66 off 84) and Suryansh Shedge (44 off 43) worked together to stop a freefall, while Shardul Thakur also contributed a quick 43 off 45 to assist his team rally and score a respectable 248 before going out in the penultimate over.

After taking out two of those three top scorers, Punjab skipper Abhishek Sharma then showed off his skills with the bat, scoring a quick 54-ball 66 with five maximums. But Prabhsimran was the highlight of the chase, hitting up to 10 sixes and 14 boundaries in his game-winning knock.

Vijay Hazare Trophy :- Arunachal Pradesh vs Karnataka

Abhinav Manohar’s 66* from 41 deliveries and Mayank Agarwal’s scorching 45-ball century helped Karnataka thrash Arunachal Pradesh by 10 wickets, solidifying their advantage at the top of the table. Karnataka chose to bowl and used identical 4 for 30 from Hardik Raj and V Koushik to limit AP to just 166. The AP batsmen only had one noteworthy combination, worth 90, as Hardik Varma (38) and Abhinav Singh (71) stopped a freefall.

However, they didn’t have enough to match Karnataka’s batting because of breakdowns on both sides. Abhinav was the more aggressive of the two, clearing the ropes seven times on his way to his second consecutive century in the competition, while Mayank took just 14.2 overs to surpass the goal.

Vijay Hazare Trophy :- Meghalaya vs Rajasthan

In just 33 overs, Rajasthan overcame Meghalaya’s modest score of 166 thanks to the heroics of batsman Deepak Hooda. Rahul Chahar’s and Kamlesh Nagarkoti’s three-fers created the foundation for the collapse of the Meghalaya middle order and top order. With a 63-run partnership with Mahipal Lomror (38 off 36), Hooda led Rajasthan to a six-wicket victory after his team was reduced to 50/2 in reply.

Vijay Hazare Trophy :- Assam vs Haryana

Haryana easily won by eight wickets in 32 overs thanks to the combined efforts of Nishant Sindhu (4 for 40) and Parth Vats (3 for 30), who took seven wickets and dismissed Assam for a pitiful 139. Only one hitter, Sumit Ghadigaonkar, put up much of a fight during his half-century knock, and Assam was bowled out in just 37 overs. Vats then made an undefeated 52 in the chase, demonstrating his prowess with the bat as well.

Vijay Hazare Trophy :- gManipur vs Odisha

Odisha defeated Manipur by 9 wickets in Jaipur thanks to the efforts of Rajesh Mohanty (3 for 14) and Tapas Das (4 for 17). As the Odisha new-ball pair batted, Manipur was only able to manage 100 in 40 overs, with no batter scoring more than opener Basir Rahman’s 20. With 30 overs and nine wickets remaining, Swastik Samal helped his team cross the finish line with an unbroken 50 in the chase and an 80-run unbeaten partnership with captain Sandeep Pattnailk.
